A few quick observations:
Devin Funchess should effectively be Carolina’s TE, giving him *shudder* some value with TD upside going forward.
Cam Newton isn’t really running and hasn’t instilled confidence with his arm. The dearth of running seems designed. He’s not a QB1.
Buck Allen is the best back in Baltimore. He’s the pass catcher, but also rolled up a fair number of carries salting away the Browns week 2.
Chris Carson. That will be all. (Until before the 2018 NFL Draft when you spin him for picks before the rookie fever crescendo.) Enjoy.
Isaiah Crowell has gone up against two very good run defenses. (Ravens #5 and Pitt #13 in 2016.) There will be easier sledding in the future
Samaje Perine, (good, bad, or ugly,) will get a chance to be the primary ball carrier in Washington. If you’re buying, buy now.
Detective Jack Doyle should eat this week. Brissett will lean on him, & Cleveland’s LB are quantum foam- space/time transport to the endzone
On the subject of TEs, Jason Witten is currently the TE1… go poke around the Rico Gathers’ owner. Good time to stash a forgotten gem cheap
Virtually unnoticed, but there’s a new DJ in Arizona. The Cards signed DJ Foster, who posted 1000 yard rushing and 1000 receiving respectively in consecutive years in college.
Corey Grant and Malcolm Brown should be on your radar. A watch list is a beautiful thing.
Giovanni Bernard will be more interesting than most people think. Going forward, it’s the Lazor-Show… & Bill loves his receiving backs.
Mixon might challenge, but Bernard is already established as the entrenched pass catcher, plus he’s actually got less cachet than Mixon now in dynasty… that makes him a buy for me.
Last one: Trevor Siemian isn’t a QB1. (Not news.) But he is good enough to sustain DT and Manny S (who are perennially undervalued. Buy ‘em🤑)
